On Friday we had our play date as usual. This time we met at a local church which has an open gym on Fridays. Beforehand we attempted to watch floor hockey at the Special Olympics (the World Games were held in Boise this year), but we showed up when the games finished and it was going to be another half hour before the next. After nap we went to an art show/benefit (Valentines for AIDS--name of the show) at a local coffee shop , but when Vita found out there were pens (there for people to document their bids as part of a silent auction), it was over. She is obsessed with pens, markers, and pencils. Needless to say, I didn't get in much art. The above picture is actually at the library (I forgot my camera on Friday). On Wednesdays we go to Music and Movement. After the music session, they also have an open play time. Of course this is Vita giving me the "more" sign so it's obvious she is more interested in food than play.

Mary Kay, your efforts are appreciated in keeping Vita involved, and the updates you post. Thanks!
Aunt Pat,"maybe you have an artist on your hands, if she is intriged with pens and pencils."
Gee, and we know that Vita loves sticky notes; so there is the paper aspect. lol
Great picture.
And, as Judy says; you and Randy do a wonderful job exposing Vita to all elements of life. We're proud of you, too. Thanks for keeping us posted. It makes me feel like I'm right there. It gives us the chance to watch her grow, being so far away.
