Moroccan Dinner

Dinner club was at our house on Saturday night. The theme was Moroccan--a lot of sweetness in most of the recipes. The drink was a hibiscus, rose tea with a simple syrup and vodka mixture. The appetizer was a yummy combination of sweet and savory--a chicken and spice mixture enveloped in a filo dough crust with powdered sugar topping. The side was a beautiful and tasty couscous. The main dish was a chicken dish with blanched almonds, chick peas, and onions. I also made bread with three different seeds in it--it's a holiday bread. Three different desserts graced our plates. The triangular goodies are baklava-like almond and fig treats, and the orange is in a sweet glaze with mint on top. Everything tasted amazing!!

Sounds like there was an amazing chef, who prepared all of those yummy vitals. (okay vittles? No, Webster doesn't belive in the word. And it is one that I grew up with... hmmm)
What a fun thing to do. But, where did you hide the children?
